Article review: Physical activity for public health in the 21st century
Abstract
It is particularly useful for professionals who wish to view physical activity not merely as an individual lifestyle choice, but as a social, environmental, and health policy issue. The article presented here frames physical activity not as a matter of personal discipline, but as a social, environmental, and health policy issue. This perspective is useful in Hungary as well, because it helps move beyond the simplistic message that “everyone should be more active” and instead focuses on who, where, under what conditions, and how safely will have a real opportunity for health-promoting physical activity.
