Article review: Settings, populations, and time: a conceptual framework for public health interventions
Abstract
The article presents a new conceptual framework for understanding public health interventions, integrating settings, target populations, and the time dimension. The authors emphasize that the success of health promotion depends not only on the content of the intervention but also on its spatial and temporal context. Through the SPT model (Settings–Populations–Time), interventions are interpreted as complex, multi-level processes. The conceptual approach aims to ensure that public health programs remain sustainable and adaptable across diverse community settings over time.
