Comparative Analysis of the Institutional, Control and Sanction Systems for the Land Transport of Dangerous Goods in the United States of America and Hungary

Abstract

The transportation of dangerous goods is an issue of high importance both internationally and domestically, which poses many challenges and risks to human health, the environment and the economy. Institutional frameworks, sanctioning systems and legal regulations related to the transport of these goods are of fundamental importance in ensuring safe and efficient transport. Both Hungary and the USA have their own institutional frameworks and legal regulations in this area, which they adapt to their own national and regional circumstances. In addition, individual countries have different levels of regulatory mechanisms that can affect the effectiveness and consequences of measures related to the transportation of dangerous goods.
