Improving the preparation of hoselines with hose carrying baskets and rope bags

Abstract

The current methods of preparing hoselines waste significant amount of time. The hose carrying basket presented in this article is an alternative to the traditional use of rolled hoses, that could mostly be applied in the laying of baselines. The use of rope bags not only protects the equipment, but also enables faster stretching of hoses onto higher floors. The author examines the usefulness of this equipment with experiments which prove, that 43-45% time saving can be achieved with
them.
