Speciality of technical rescue of railway accident and its economical consequences
Abstract
In the last decades the number of the technical rescues of fire service works increased the best. It could be caused by increases in motorization and demand of people’s locomotion. We can draw a connection between the number road users and the number of traffic accidents. Railway accidents are a special group in traffic accidents. In this publication factors will be presented which are more serious in railway accidents than in road accidents. Special tools are presented which are needed in a technical rescue. Sequence of the events is reported and an opportunity as well, how to determine the required number of the tools and the size of the staff for a rescue. Importance of practicing technical rescue is crucial, which is presented by an Austrian example. Finally the economic consequences of railway accidents are presented according to several aspects.
