Abstract
The theme of the article.is Debrecen's former student firefighter Life, and the activity of the former student firefighters are in the focus of the article. The writing shows the firefighting organization, items of equipment. Visual, written and material relics of The Disaster Management Center Museum are said in the background. The article will be considered the main causes of the contemporary generation of fires. One of the devastating fires of Debrecen (in 1802) is notable poems chronicle of George Bessenyei. The poem quoted show the difficulties of the activity of the students.
