Layer examination of high wear protective clothing

Abstract

The fire – retardant examination of high – wear protective clothing materials with regard to the military dress is very important because today the hungarian army do not use a requriment system so we do not know how the layers behave in the fire. But tell you the truth the soldiers can be contacted with fire effects and they can be contacted with explosion effects and their risks so the military protective clothing should protect the life of soldiers. The behavior of each layers of materials was an important aspect during the tests. There was a question how each layers perform against the fire separately and how the layers perform against the fire if we take them in a system. The results of the layers system were evaluated into three groups after the tests. The three groups were the following: combustible – combustible, combustible – nonflammable, non-flammable - non-flammable. I can say that only the examination  results of the third group fulfilled the requirements.
