Analysis of fatal fires

Abstract

Fire has been serving but also endangering humans since prehistoric times. In Hungary, similarly to the rest of the world, fire-related injuries and fatalities occur regularly. In order to put effective fire prevention measures in place it is important to analyse fatality trends using statistical data. The authors aim to investigate the main connections between cases and their backgrounds. The authors then use the findings to summarise the key methods that help prevent incidents that cause physical injuries.
