Is the positive health impact of school gardens evidence-based?

Abstract

In an article published in BioMed Central in 2016 the authors looked for evidence of health benefits of school gardens with the systematic review methodology. Based on the article we would like to offer a glance about the process of the systematic review methodology, by presenting the essential steps. Moreover, reports on significant research results and conclusions are presented in the article. In addition, we share our thoughts on school gardens and provide a short overview of the initiatives in Hungary, encouraging readers in the spirit of interprofessional collaboration to publish in the magazine, in an attempt to give the opportunity to think together.
