Article review: Life course health consequences and associated costs of Adverse Childhood Experiences across Europe and North America
Abstract
In our country, too, many people suffer from the effects of adverse childhood experiences: it is likely that around a quarter of society, like other European countries, is struggling with the lifelong consequences. The social security costs of this can be very significant in our country too, which is why government measures aimed at creating a safer and more secure childhood are so important.
