Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the condition of th railway track and the permitted speed of the railway vehicle running on it. The relationship between the condition of the railway track and the maximum permissible vehicle speed on a given section of the track is a very important and crucial safety issue in railway operation. This idea raises the question of what method can be used to classify the condition of the railway track.
