Abstract

Summary:The editorial board of the Hungarian Journal of Health Development intends to devote special attention for the scientific aspects during the renewal process. This work is also fit into this endeavor, which aim to analyze the previous issues of the Journal to show the recognizable deficiencies related to research methodology. The purpose of the current study, however, is not criticism, but also to provide guidance for the future works.In our short analysis it was carried out a systematic review of the publications released in 2015 in the Journal. We have selected the publications only which based on own data collection. We have used international recommendations for the systematic review and we could recognize more mistakes. From these the most basically are the bad practices of sample selection and the choice of research design, and also the erroneously generalizing nature of the conclusion.
