Digitális technológiák a büntetés-végrehajtásban
Abstract
In the present study the starting assumption was that the type of prison environment which keeps the inmates away from the digital world adversely influences the success of their reintegration. From this starting point we describe those penitentiary experiments that aim to apply different digital technologies and to implement them for the prison conditions. For example the study details the concept of prisoners’ e-mail correspondence, video-visits and access to Internet, furthermore it addresses the topic of the so called telemedicine, and over and above the article describes the Belgian initiative, which offers a very diverse digital platform for the detainees.
