Practices for Treating Mental Health Problems Arising from Traffic Accidents
Abstract
In traffic accidents, the focus is usually on physical injuries, while the psychological consequences are often overlooked. Survivors may experience post-traumatic stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, or an aversion to driving. Without treatment, these can permanently impair quality of life and even endanger traffic safety. The study presents the mental effects of trauma and the shortcomings of care.
