Encounter of Schemes in Road Safety
Abstract
In our country, there are several times as many road accidents with personal injuries that end in „property damage only”. These accidents are also traffic externalities, causing traffic congestion, multiplying the work of the police and causing daily annoyance to road users. The right design of infrastructure can go a long way towards influencing road users’ behaviour, whether they react correctly or incorrectly. In this article, we show how patterns meet when the traffic environment is
designed in a way that is deceptive and does not allow for error.
