The modelling of road public transport networks using the Transmodel standard
Abstract
The aim of the National Electronic Ticket System Platform (NEJP), which is currently being developed, is to create an electronic fare payment system that will ensure full interoperability in Hungary. From the point of view of transport, one of the basic pillars is the IT mapping of the physical transport network, which in the case of NEJP is based on the theoretical model of the Transmodel (MSZ EN 12896 [1]) standard. The article presents the possible mapping process of a specific Hungarian public transport network part based on Transmodel version 6 (EN 12896: 2016).
