Seat-belt wearing rates in Hungary and abroad
Abstract
One of the most important road safety performance indicators is the seat belt wearing rate. The development and analysis of domestic values, and their comparison with other countries, provide important information. The paper analyzes the development of domestic values of the seat belt wearing rate compared to other countries. This is made possible by IRTAD (International Traffic Safety Data and Analysis Group), the road traffic and accident data bank of OECD member countries, as it contains seat belt wearing rates observed in different seats of passenger cars according to road categories.References
