Proposal for a complex research on the topic of public space

Abstract

The publication is an attempt to draw attention to the necessary and possible research on the topic of the public space in the peripheral areas of the profession. The ultimate question is: how can our public spaces be made more usable, more attractive and economical in the long run, on a societal level? To answer this in a complex way, we have compiled 52 tasks grouped by six professions (transport, utilities, architecture-horticulture-street furniture, economy, social sciences, landscape environment relations), but the list will most probably expand already during the preparation of the research.
