Updated Accident Database – Recent Changes in Road Traffic Accident Data Coding
Abstract
Given the modification of the road accident data recording system from 1 January 2024, the aim of our analysis is to present the related changes. The changes have not previously received publicity, so this article can provide useful support for professionals working in the field of road safety. Proper analysis of road safety data can be used for the efficient use of road safety resources, and for planning interventions, training, and developments.
