Safety-oriented patient care
Abstract
During health care, many factors that threaten patient safety can worsen the outcome of the disease. Although the pursuit of complete safety is utopian, the vast majority of errors, non-conformances and risks occurring in the activity can be eliminated with a proactive action plan. The consistent operation of management techniques significantly improves the safety of both patients and caregivers, and is also cost-effective. The publication describes the program aimed at reducing the risk of gene replacement therapy, in addition to some of the disease safety methods used during the healing activities of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Bethesda Children's Hospital.
