Abstract

Powerful arrangements for GP practices to work collaboratively as clusters were implemented in Hungary, using partly Swiss, partly EU and partly national funds sources. From January 2021, Hungarian GPs can work collaboratively as clusters, while EU development projects are increasingly replaced by a series of state-maintained measures. The aim of the article is to support the successful structural change of Hungarian healthcare, aid the development of primary health care and present the main lessons of past development programs.
