For each published article, the journal clearly indicates the following in both the HTML and PDF versions:

• the copyright holder; and

• the applicable copyright and licence terms.

Under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, article content may be shared and adapted for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work and any changes are indicated.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript and all of its components – including figures, tables, images, supplementary materials and, where relevant, audio or video materials, protocols, and datasets – may be lawfully published and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

If any part of the manuscript has been previously published or originates from a third party, authors must obtain the necessary permissions, submit them with the manuscript, and acknowledge the source appropriately.

For certain types of content, the copyright status of individual articles may differ. In such cases, the editorial office will indicate this clearly in the article.

Authors may deposit the final published version of their article, in PDF or HTML format, in an institutional or subject repository, or on a personal or institutional website, for non-commercial purposes. The deposited version must include the appropriate bibliographic reference to the original article published in the journal, as well as the relevant copyright and licence statement: CC BY-NC 4.0.

The journal reserves the right to define additional technical or formal requirements for specific repositories or forms of sharing.
