Absztrakt

The present article focuses on the European Parliament resolution of 
1 March 2018 on prospects and challenges for the EU apiculture 
(beekeeping) sector. The significant goal of the adoption of the 
resolution was the combating honey adulteration, and the article 
itself also concentrates on these aspects of the resolution. The 
article details the problems connected to honey adulteration and 
presents the measures through which the decision makers might be 
capable to solve the problems. Beside the European dimensions, the 
article assesses the Hungarian position in depth. The present article 
is a real transdisciplinary publication which includes both legal and 
agricultural sciences’ approaches.
