  • Vol. 17 No. 33 (2022)

    The primary focus of the issue no. 33 of the Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Law is on agricultural law issues, including land acquisition. This issue includes articles on Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Austrian, Hungarian, Italian and Slovakian law. There are also articles on the EU legal aspects of the subject. In addition to the main theme of the issue, there is an article on the so-called social farm and another on the agricultural reform in Romania after the First World War. The issue also includes a conference report on the constitutional protection of the environment and future generations in Central Europe.

  • Vol. 17 No. 32 (2022)

    The Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Law's issue no. 32 primarily but not exclusively consists of articles on topics related to the interface between, on one hand, constitutional law, and, on the other hand, the environment or the agriculture. One can read the constitutional aspects of environmental protection or agricultural issues in the context of Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the current issue includes an article on the criminal law relevance of environmental protection, the analysis of the precautionary and non-refoulement principles in public law, land consolidation in Croatia, as well as the early stage of competition-related provisions applying to agri-food markets in the United States. 

  • Vol. 16 No. 31 (2021)

    The Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Law's Issue 31 is a thematic issue which aims to present the interface between environmental protection and constitutional law in Central Europe. The readers may peruse the issue from the perspective of Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Furthermore, a comparative legal analysis is provided on the Hungarian, German, Italian and Belgian regulation.

    The Issue 30 of the Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Law includes, on the one hand, articles which are based on the presentations of the online conference titled 'Legal frame of the agricultural land/holding succession and the acquisition by legal persons' held on 17 September 2020, on the other hand, further scholarly papers from the field of agricultural and environmental law. The readers may peruse scholarly writings on biofertilizers, renewable hydrogen, or systems theory with regard to the food system.
