Abstract
They say we live in the Anthropocene. They say humans människor have a huge impact on this planet, on the geology, ecosystems, biodiversity, species extinction and the climate. They say human menneskelig civilisation has caused the present crisis, the increasing number of environmental catastrophes. They say that humans mennirnir have become like hungry locusts, eating everything in sight, and that humanity menneskehet has grown too voracious and too vast and too destructive.
