Hogyan befolyásolják a politikai értékek a színház működését?
Az észtországi Tartu példája összehasonlító európai perspektívában
Absztrakt
A tanulmány egy empirikus kutatás eredményeit mutatja be, amely a színház működését (a produkció, a disztribúció és a recepció területeit, valamint ezek kapcsolatait) vizsgálta Tartu városában. Ennek keretében az egy év alatt megrendezett összes nyilvános színházi eseményt kategorizálták színházi formák, műfajok szerint. Emellett kvantitatív és kvalitatív közönség- és befogadókutatásra is sor került. A kutatás alapjául a nemzetközi STEP – Project on European Theatre Systems által kidolgozott módszertan, illetve összehasonlító szempontok szolgáltak. Bár a színházi rendszerek mindig kulturális gyökerekre vezethetők vissza, és egyértelműen kultúrtörténeti, politikai és társadalomtörténeti folyamatok eredményei, a színházpolitika prioritásai és a színházi rendszer struktúrája is közvetlen hatást gyakorol a színház működésére.
