Absztrakt
A sorozatgyilkosokkal foglalkozó kutatásunk eredményeiről két részletben számolunk be. Jelen tanulmány keretei között a sorozatgyilkosok „rácson túli” életével és aktivitásával foglalkozunk. Átfogó képet igyekszünk adni a „sorozatgyilkos” kifejezés eredetéről és jelentéséről; tárgyaljuk a sorozatgyilkosok általános jellemzőit; valamint ismertetjük a tipizálásukra vonatkozó főbb elképzeléseket; majd kitérünk a női sorozatgyilkosok kérdéskörére.
