National staff drill at Kiskunhalas National Prison
Abstract
The rationalisation of the organisation in 2023 has fundamentally reformed the management system of the prison service. This not only affects day-to-day operation, but also the management of extraordinary occurrences and incidents, based on professional leadership and prepared staff. However, preparedness does not only mean that personnel can and do act independently, but that they also perform these acts in a coordinated and coherent manner. To help achieve this, the team and crowd management procedures in the prison service have been reorganised over the past year. In order to test in practice the new management system, the reformed methodologies and the cooperation of the staff of the different institutions of the prison service in the framework of a team, a joint staff drill was organised at the Kiskunhalas National Prison.
