Abstract

The study describes the experience during the placement and accommodation of persons under the policing custody of foreigners. The author describes the official responses to migration, the domestic central operation management, and the special features of the Hungarian prisons involved in the treatment. The importance of the careful and regular admission procedure, and also the communication problems experienced during that are discussed. The article addresses the cultural characteristics of the persons detained under policing custody, the inspections carried out by national and international human right watch organizations, the prison personnel selection for the related tasks. The active and passive resistant conducts and behaviors by the migrants during the implementation are also described.
