Hungarian advisory involvement in the EUPOLCOPPS mission in the Palestinian West Bank
Abstract
For one year, I served as a penitentiary advisor on a tendered secondment position on behalf of the Hungarian Prison Service Headquarters at the EUPOL COOPS Mission in Ramallah, PA. I report here on my professional experience and working conditions including an introduction to the Mission structure and the cooperation with Palestinian professional and governmental bodies. I also refer to the circumstances of the unresolved Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
