The Prison Service Ltd. companies and the Bv. Holding Ltd. on new ways - Walking in the track of innovation towards the pursuit of autonomy

Abstract

It is possible to break out of the activities of the limited companies of the Prison Service based on the central supply system by finding and introducing new, marketable, modern products and services, responding to the challenges of the current needs. To do all this, we sometimes have to go beyond our limits and introduce modern, innovative production models that provide a solution to the 21st century needs. The Bv. Holding Ltd. was founded in 2014 December, as the dominant member of the group of companies. The group of companies is named Bv. Holding (hereinafter: Bv. Holding), and the companies controlled by the Bv. Holding Ltd. are established for the compulsory employment of prisoners. The Bv. Holding Ltd. and the member companies of Bv. Holding are presented in the study. The autonomous companies as organizational units of the Bv. Holding determine the possible directions for the renewal, based on the principle that “we are stronger together”. In the event of a theoretical and organizational transformation of the Bv. Holding Ltd., the Prison Service can meet the social and governmental expectation of full employment of prisoners, and by producing marketable products and finding a market to sell them the Hungarian Prison Servicemay become self-sufficient and self-sustaining
