A zengőlegyek (Diptera: Syrphidae) szerepe a beporzásban és a biológiai védekezésben

Absztrakt

Az ökológiai kutatások során az elmúlt években egyre inkább a figyelem
középpontjába került az ökoszisztéma szolgáltatások vizsgálata. Az ökoszisztéma szolgáltatások, mint például a pollináció vagy a biológiai védekezés, azok a hasznok, amelyekhez az emberiség jut az ökoszisztémák mőködése során. Azonban az emberi beavatkozások (pl. intenzív földhasználat) miatt csökken a természetes élőhelyek száma, amely negatívan hat a pollinátorok és a természetes ellenségek előfordulására, s ezáltal az ökoszisztéma egészséges működésére. A zengőlegyek többszörösen részt vesznek az ökoszisztéma szolgáltatásokban: az imágók beporzó szervezetként, a levéltetű fogyasztó lárvák biokontrollként. Hazánkban mintegy 400 fajuk él.
