Overview the Future of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Aircraft Systems

Abstract

The contribution gives an overview about the development of the UAV and UAS devices and the main trends of their market. It deals with the general classification of the military and civil UAV equipment and systems and with their typical applications. Based on the “US Army UAS Roadmap 2010 2035” the author summarizes the main goals of the US Army in introducing, development and applications of the UAV systems in the next two decades. The paper gives an overview about some results of the domestic developments and the further possibilities in the near future.
