Value – Values – Our Values

Abstract

In my paper, first, I demonstrate the theoretical claim that value – wherever is obtained – is not an arbitrarily definable and freely chosen category, but is always honored by somebody (us or others) and socially determined, which is only enforced by our choice (or the choice of others). Then, in the light of this theory of value, I focus on the possible values of the contemporary Hungarian soldiers.
