Digitális átalakulás és módszertani innováció az oktatásban – a felsőoktatás megújulásának perspektívái

Abstract

This study examines the challenges and opportunities of the digital transformation and meth­odological renewal of higher education in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). It argues that although the modernization of education has long been on the agenda, systemic changes have so far been implemented only in isolated cases. The VUCA nature of the global socio-economic environment, changing labor market expectations, the technological revolution, and the emerging learning habits of Generations Z and Alpha all call for moving beyond the traditional, teacher-centered, lecture-based, and knowledge-focused educational model. The author highlights the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional shortcomings of the current learning environment, as well as the structural problems of teacher education that hinder meaningful innovation.

The study provides a detailed overview of the system of 21st century skills and competencies and their relevance to the labor market, emphasizing the growing importance of analytical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills. As central elements of methodological innovation, it presents active, cooperative, and project-based learning grounded in constructivist and connectivist approaches, together with the applica­tion of blended learning environments.

A key driver of digital transformation is artificial intelligence, which offers new perspectives in adaptive learning, learning analytics, the support of teaching activities, and assessment. At the same time, the author stresses the importance of the ethical and responsible use of AI, as well as the legal and pedagogical preparation required for its effective implementation. The study concludes that sustainable and effective educational transformation can only be achieved through systemic, long-term development, the redefinition of the teacher's role, the renewal of learning environments, and the broad strengthening of digital competencies.
