Abstract

From the 1970/71 academic year to the 1978/79 academic year, the technical education correspondence course lasted one and a half years and the diploma certifying the qualification was at the higher institute level. From the 1979/80 academic year, the training period was increased to 3 years and ended with a college degree. From 2020, the vocational education training started again in the BA system. During the training, the curricula also changed according to the needs and it is clear from these that the preparation of a thesis played and continues to play an important role during the training. It poses a serious challenge to students and consultants alike. In our short study, we will confront our research results that are relevant to this topic in the vocational education circle in 2024 with the choice of thesis of this same circle of investigation, and we will analyze the structure of the topic selection. We would like to find out whether there was an effect or a connection between the choice of thesis topic and their positive, general opinion of Hungarian vocational training as assessed in previous research.
