Nem kormányzati szervezetek (NGO-k) és civil társadalom Ománban
Absztrakt
A munka a nem kormányzati szervezetek és a civil társadalom ománi szabályozási kereteit, funkcióit és kihívásait, valamint a fenntartható fejlődéshez és a társadalmi jóléthez való hozzájárulásukat vizsgálja. A tanulmány ezt a kérdést jogi dokumentumok, esettanulmányok és másodlagos adatok kvalitatív elemzésén keresztül vizsgálja; betekintést nyújt az ománi modellbe, amely az átláthatóságra, a kulturális integritásra és a nemzetközi partnerségre összpontosít. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy az ománi NGO-kra szigorú szabályozások vonatkoznak, beleértve a 14/2000. számú királyi rendeletet, amely regisztrációt, pénzügyi ellenőrzéseket és a nemzeti prioritásoknak való megfelelést ír elő. Bár az ilyen intézkedések garantálják az elszámoltathatóságot, problémákat okoznak a kisebb szervezeteknek és korlátozzák a politikai érdekképviseletet. A cikk emellett esettanulmányokat is tartalmaz azokról a szegmensekről, ahol az NGO-k a legaktívabbak, mint például a szegénység enyhítése, az egészségügyi ellátás biztosítása, az ifjúsági szerepvállalás és a környezetvédelem, továbbá bemutatja a vállalatokkal és nemzetközi szervezetekkel kialakított sikeres partnerségeket. Végezetül a tanulmány leírja azt a törékeny határt a hagyomány és a modernitás között, amelyen Omán jár, és megvilágítja a civil társadalom lehetséges szerepét olyan nagy horderejű kérdések kezelésében, mint a gazdasági diverzifikáció és az urbanizáció, ahogyan azt az Ománi Vízió 2040 is leírja.
