A romanista Herman József
Abstract
A cikk áttekintést nyújt Herman József tudományos tevékenységének azokról az aspektusairól, amelyek a romanisztikát érintő legeredetibb hozzájárulásai. Amellett, hogy beszámol néhány fontos eredményéről, bemutatja kutatásai elméleti és metodológiai keretét: az átmeneti korszak szövegeinek interpretációjában használt módszereit, a nyelvváltozás okairól és mechanizmusairól vallott nézeteit és az újlatin nyelvek kialakulásáról, „születéséről” kidolgozott elméletét.
