Abstract
Acne is one of the most common skin diseases. Its patomechanism is based on the interaction of androgen-induced increased sebum production, follicular hyperkeratinisation, a decrease in skin microbiome diversity and the associated inflammatory response. The therapeutic repertoire is constantly expanding, in addition to new pharmaceutical active ingredients, it also includes dermocosmetics and instrumental developments. In addition to increasing efficiency, safety and tolerability are increasingly emphasized.
