Abstract

This essay introduces a Chinese-language Mongolian stele inscription which could serve asa new source to those researching the Battle of Mohi and the Mongolian invasion of Hungary.The stele inscription also helps answer the crucial military history question of where the decisivebattle between the Hungarian and the Mongol armies took place during the Battle of Mohi.
