The Development and Necessity of Multi-domain Operations

Abstract

Multi-Domain Operations are the actual concept of the United States military for theapplication of the joint force. It’s under development since 2016 and having been testedcontinuously. According to previous trends the concept’s proliferation among NATOmembers is highly likely. This study reviews the Hungarian terms already in use to describemulti-domain, and provides a brief outlook on the concept’s emergence and role in the futurewarfare.
