Paradigm shift in emergency communication

Keywords: paradigm shift, communication, emergensy, generation, digitalisation

Abstract

The widening of the intergenerational gaps created by information development highlights the problem of information habits, in which there will always be progressives and those lagging behind. Generational differences also require the use of different methods of communication in the field of population information, taking into account the need for advanced digitisation and traditional information. From the point of view of public protection, the author demonstrates the importance of available time and space in online and offline communication in an emergency. In addition, the protection of an ageing population must be ensured by racing against time and bridging distances. In doing so, information development has triggered a paradigm shift.
