Abstract
In the contemporary VUCA context innovation is a strategic tool. The effect of the new development methodology (digital development focusing on innovation) is to significantly accelerate the military technology research and development project cycle, which not only allows us to seize the technological advantage in the near future, but also to create strategic surprises and a lasting strategic competitive advantage by creating completely new weapon systems and thereby maintaining a lasting strategic competitive advantage. In this way, a new type of military technology research and development process built on a significant IT base will become a key element of the military strategy of the future.
