Quo vadis Katalónia?

Abstract

Catalonia is one of the most advanced parts of Spain. In relation to the European Union, Catalonia still belongs to the prosperous territories. However, nowadays there is a more increasing desire for an independent Catalonia. In this paper I investigate the reasons of this process and the chance of realization of an independent Catalan Republic.
