The evaluation of the publication performance of the lecturers and researchersat the National University of Public Service based on Scopus dataset

Abstract

Based on the journal list of the IX. Section of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, most of the journals are indexed in the Scopus database, therefore the evaluation of scientific activities of former and current employees of the National University of Public Service (NUPS) is worth being based on this international database. Out of the 1,279 academics involved in the analysis, 205 have a Scopus ID but their Hirsch-index varies considerably. The purpose of the paper is to present the current position of NUPS by highlighting the results of the Scopus-based evaluation. The international outlook consists of the analysis breakdown by partner institutions and disciplines.
