Jemen: Quo vadis? - Part 3

Abstract

In the ancient age, Yemen had the name of Happy Arabia. Today, this country is suffering from civil war, famine, epidemics. The crisis that has been going on for years, menace with the break out the world’s largest hunger crisis, resulted the destruction of homes, hospitals and schools, in an anyway poor country. The armed intervention of foreign powers Yemen pushed into even deeper chaos. The permanent power vacuum has given way to terrorists of al-Qaida and the Islamic State to expand within the country to terrorize the civilian population. Iran-backed Houthi rebels in addition to deploying home-made explosive devices (IED) launched tactical missiles against Saudis. With regard the crisis the International community is divided, so a quick solution can not be expected.
