Abstract

Aplication of the cultural antropology in military sciences has the aim to fullfill the requirement to understand better the mission environment both for civilian and military participants. Clan structure and system in Somalia is complex, good ground for cultural antropology and military sciences on a special segment. Clan structure is cause and also could be counterweight of piracy in the region. The EUNAVFOR Atalanta operation is basicly run on maritime medium from 2012, but is clear that on land base, especially on CIMIC area, the clan sturcture’s mapping is unessencial. It could be main factor in the success of the operation.
