Some international reserve organizations

Abstract

More and more mention is made these days of reservists in Hungary, especially due to the forthcoming renewed Volunteer Reserve System. It is commonplace these days that there is no all-volunteer force without voluntary reservists. Most Western democraies already possessed these associatio and they act as a bridge between the armed forces and society. Subsequently these national reserve associations have established various international intergrations. The best known is the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers (Conféderation Interalliée des Officiers de Réseve - CIOR).
