Abstract
10. January, 2010 it was hundred years that the first air plane planned and built by Hungarians took to the air. Presenting few moments of history of Hungarian military aviation the Author mentions in his short article that the anniversary was commemorated with a central celebration and a scientific session as well.
Furthermore the International Air and Military Show will take place under the aegis of the centenary on 7th and 8th August in Kecskemét.
