Role of military alliances in securing of energy resources

Abstract

Military alliances have recently been taking part in securing energy sources for their members. The article intends to survey the scope of the possible roles and
define the actual tasks for present-day military alliances with a focus on NATO and EU (as it has been building up its military profile recently).
